Balayya’s 'Mitrudu' comes on May Day

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Mitrudu is hitting the screens on May Day. Balayya who is busy in political canvassing has given nod to the film’s release on May 1st. Says producer Krishna Prasad: “Except one song, we have completed the shooting part. And post-production work too is fast finishing up. Hence we are releasing the movie on May 1st as the election fever is ending next week. I am sure the film will emerge as a blockbuster this summer.”

Mitrudu has Priyamani as heroine and the movie is a masala entertainer with more focus on family values. Newcomer Mahadev is the director.
