Parvathy Melton has escaped with Rs 60 lakh, says a producer and Parvathi says that she hasn’t betrayed anyone but only taken the sum for booking her and not using. We are talking about ‘Varudu’ issue where Singanamala Ramesh, its producer paid Rs 60 lakh in full to Parvathy Melton for giving her call sheets. But it was Namratha, the wife of Mahesh Babu who turned a villain for Parvathy. She denied seeing Parvathy beside Mahesh Babu as she rates her inferior heroine.It turned a big task to convince Namratha and finally Parvathy was ousted from the project and Anushka pulled in. But Parvathy has come with the big recommendation of Trivikram Srinivas as she is his friend. But even Trivikram’s word didn’t work at Namratha.
But Parvathy said that she has taken that Rs 60 lakh for spending such huge time without accepting any other movie and also for bearing the pain of rejection and embarrassment. But Singanamala is now in a fix and trying to get at least some of the amount from Parvathy. And she is staying away from light to avoid Singanamala’s chasing.
