Actor Saloni who starred opposite Salman Khan in the film Saawan is back! The actor is gearing up for her role in Rajamouli’s next film. Though she did a few Tollywood films with the likes of Siddharth, Sumanth and Tarun, that big break eluded her. She was almost written off from the industry. But now she hopes to change all of that with the forthcoming project, Maryada Ramanna. “I can’t wait for the film to go on the floors,” says Saloni. “Rajamouli is a big name in the industry and I have a strong chance of making a comeback in Telugu cinema,” she quips. Ask her how she bagged the role and she says, “I did an item number in Rajamouli’s yet-to-be released film, Maghadheera, starring Ram Charan Tej. That’s when the director approached me to play the lead in his next.” The audience too are waiting to see the pretty lass back on screen.
